Yann Tiersen's score ties in perfectly with the film. The melodies are playful and cantabile in character - wonderful to daydream to, but also a pleasure to play. The movements chosen for this arrangement are ideally suited to an accordion orchestra. The joyful, yet melancholic sound of the accordion is just right to reflect the typically French atmosphere that the composer created for the film.
