Published by Jazz Lines Publications. JL.JLP-8884. This Shorty Rogers arrangement was written for the Terry Gibbs Dream Band in the late 1950s but it was not recorded. It was originally written around the Gershwin melody I Got Rhythm, but didn't contain any of the original tune in the arrangement. Many years later Terry wanted to use this arrangement for a Steve Allen 75th birthday concert. 1997. but was not able to due to the cost of licensing the composition. So, he wrote a new melody to go with the arrangement. This melody, titled Here It Is, is based on 'Rhythm' changes. The tune is played as a duet between vibes and trumpet. For performance, if you wish, it would be easy to substitute any 'Rhythm' changes melody in place of this one. This also features a solo for piano. Ranges. Trumpet 1. to D6. Trombone 1.
