Navigation etc.
In front of the Ottawa Art Museum there is the
Ottawa Notre-Dame Cathedral.....the group usually plays for
masses and special ceremonies.....In 2005 there was an inauguration of
new paintings to be celebrated in the great entrance hall
of the Ottawa Museum...the Cathedral Brass were asked
to perform the music for the concert....I wrote that as
the opening piece when people were entering...played
from up on the balconies the reverberation was
great....to get a brassier sound I had to re-enforce
the Quartet by doubling the players...Michel R.
