  • In this publication, only the bass part of the second sonata is figured. Four of the remaining five sonatas are not by Kleinknecht and exist in several other sources (mostly manuscripts) where it is made quite clear that continuo accompaniment is required.
  • The original instrumentation for no.6 is not tagged, and the 2-flute version is almost certainly an arrangement by Kleinknecht, not Quantz. For the original version, click on the link to the Quantz page.
