Navigation etc.

  • This work dates from between 1809 and 1827, the years he was chapelmaster in Loreto.
  • There are indications in the score for "Tutti", "con tromba", etc., so this may be a vocal score for what is essentially an orchestral work, or the organ o piano part would be part of the orchestra.
  • Tagged for "sop alt ten bass ch orch"; RISM has more than one entry that lists orchestra as the accompaniment. As far as the organ part goes, and the possibility that it is within the orchestra, where keyboard is part of an orchestra, there is no extra tag anyway, and it is considered an orchestral instrument in that context.
