Misc. Notes From the uploader's archives. This (original?) version for violin and piano does not specify it is the composer's arrangement. The date 1898 only appears on the cover (included in this upload). Plate number 1380 is for the violin, 1381 for the piano, but other plate numbers for this work are mentioned at the bottom of the cover in very faint print : 1380, 1381,1540,1761, 2403, which concern other arrangements (orchestra accompaniment, piano accompaniment, piano solo, piano duet...). The assumed date in the orchestra version above, which concerns only the first performance, is therefore uncertain, if not downright wrong, as well as the 1380 plate number for the orchestral version.
