As you know, an elf is a very lifely being. It is all over the place, all day long. A thousand things happen during each day, and a thousand memories are taken to bed in the evening, making it hard to sleep. Therefor this lullaby! You will find it full of those happy memories who will certainly follow our elf into her dreams ... 'Lullaby for an Elf' is the first song I wrote for my album 'The Journey'. The melody found me during dinner one day back in 2009, totally unexpected as is the case with most new melodies, and I had to drop everything, get a piece of paper and start writing it down. As I am also an Irish Dancer, all music from 'The Journey' is heavily influenced by Celtic tunes. I hope you will cherish this piece as much as I do. Everyone of us should have an elf, a very special person, in their life. For me, this song is about the love of my life. Darling, you know what I want to tell you with this song ...
