Tab pro is crap, and no, Guitar Pro is more about musicianship than creating your own tabs. Don't enter into conversations where you don't speak the language- this shit doesn't even have transcript. I even have a sub to Tab Pro, but I use my guitarpro program 10 fold over. Simply put, Tab pro is for guitarist- guitarpro is for musicians that also play guitar.

I believe Guitar Pro is more about creating your own tabs. I use both Guitar Pro 7 and UltimateGuitar. There is a huge library of tabs on UltimateGuitar, and on Guitar Pro 7, you have to search for tabs online or purchase them. It is what it is.
