The rhythm for this is taken from cchandler's tab on PerpetualArchive.

All solos are using the F# Major Scale, which can be found here http://
www.jamcenter.com/scales.php

I've tabbed out some of them though.

      G#m F#maj7
E------4------4-------1----------------|
B------4------7-------2----------------|
G------4------4-------3----------------|
D------4------4-------4----------------|
A------6------6------------------------|
E------4------4------------------------|

Intro Lead: (Repeated Throughout Song)

E-------------------------------------------------------------|
B---4-7-7-7-7-4-4--6-6-6--2-2-2---6-6-6--2-2-2----------------|
G-------------------------------------------------------------|
D-------------------------------------------------------------|
A-------------------------------------------------------------|
E-------------------------------------------------------------|

Chorus:

     F# C# B D#m C# B
E-----2------------------6-----------------|
B-----2-----6-----4------7-----6-----4-----|
G-----3-----6-----4------8-----6-----4-----|
D-----4-----6-----4------8-----6-----4-----|
A-----4-----4-----2------6-----4-----2-----|
E-----2------------------------------------|

A lead guitar is improving in the same scale. I hate when tabs say this, but just make
up as you go along using F# Major.

Distorted Solo:

A---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

E--------------------------------------------9--9--9--9--9--9---9-----------|
B--6h7h9--11--9--7\6----6h7h9-11--9--7\6------7--7--7--7--7--7--------------|
G---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

E---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B--6h7--11--9--7\6----6h7h9-11--9--7----6h7h9-11--9--6h7p6------------------|
G-----8---------------------------------------------------------------------|
D---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

E---------------------------------------------------------9--9--9--9--9--9--|
B--6h7--11--9--7----6h7h9-11--9--7----6h7h9-11--9--6h7p6---7--7--7--7--7--7-|
G-----8---------------------------------------------------------------------|
D---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Different combinations of those basic melodies are repeated throughout the rest of the
and chorus by different guitars.

I realize this is relatively incomplete, but what I have I'm almost 100% sure is
At the very least, use this and combine it with the F# Major scale to get the idea of it (or
help me finish it)

Great song. Have fun.

great song. This is one of those where I just wanted to know the chords at the beginning. The rest is just improv. Thx

The intro lead is a little off. It is played in the Lydian F# mode. [tab] E---------------------------1-2-4----4-2-1---------------------------| B---------------------1-2-4----------------4-2-1---------------------| G-----------------1-3----------------------------3-1-----------------| D-----------1-3-4------------------------------------4-3-1-----------| A-----1-3-4------------------------------------------------4-3-1-----| E-2-4------------------------------------------------------------4-2-| [/tab] Its played like any scale that you have played. So for instance, the intro would instead be played with that mode sliding up and down the mode on the B string, with some mixing of the A# Pentatonic scale mixed in when you slide up to the 8th fret on the B string in the F# lydian mode. and then when you want to play a lower note in the lydian mode than the B string can play move up to the lower strings in the mode. Heres the A# Pentatonic scale if you don't already know it. [tab] E---------------------6-9----9-6---------------------| B-----------------6-9------------9-6-----------------| G-------------6-8--------------------8-6-------------| D---------6-8----------------------------8-6---------| A-----6-8------------------------------------8-6-----| E-6-9--------------------------------------------9-6-| [/tab] Then sort of play it by ear. If a note sounds off, quickly switch to the note above or below it by hammer, pull off, or slide, and it should come together pretty nicely and naturally. I like the tab, helped me a lot with the chords. Its hard for me to put a finger on the chords that Perpetual Groove plays. I like their style. Thanks for tabbing this song
