^ That makes no sense. I was mearly suggesting to get the rough tone, just use a crap amp with everything at ten as it's what the band used to rehearse the song with. And octave pedal adjusts the sound, not the tone. An octave pedal is used in the chorus of "Paranoid Andriod" and in "My Iron Lung". So no. It's NOT used here.
